What is Healthspan?

Healthspan is the period of a person’s life during which they are generally healthy, active, and free from chronic diseases or serious disabilities.

While it sounds similar to lifespan (the total number of years a person lives), healthspan focuses entirely on the quality of those years rather than just the quantity.

Healthspan is heavily influenced by daily habits and environmental factors, often broken down into a four main pillars:
